About Brother Seamus Byrne

I live a quiet, contemplative life in the hills of Wicklow, Ireland. Music and art have always been the ways I listen, pray, and make sense of the world. They rise from silence, from the land around me, and from the slow rhythm of each day.
My work is shaped by years of monastic life, by community, and by the desire to live with openness, simplicity, and care. I create slowly, letting sound and image emerge in their own time.
Whether through flute, voice or visual art, I hope to offer spaces of stillness - small invitations to pause, breathe, and rest in the presence that holds us all.
